The Leinster Printmaking Studio (Fine Art Printmakers) supported by Kildare County Council and Kildara ar Aghaidh, together with guest printmakers, have created "BOG 50x70", an exhibition inspired by the Irish Boglands and curated by Peter Jones (Print Director at DIT).

The Exhibition will be opened by Eanna Ni Lamhna on Thursday 26th March 2009 (Invitation only) from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and will open to the public on Friday 27th March. The exhibition will run until the 9th April 2009.

Verena Gerlach was born in Berlin and studied Visual Communication at Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee. Shortly after finishing art school in 1998, she founded her own studio (fraugerlach) for graphic design, type design and typography. As well as all kinds of typographic print works and typedesign, Verena also art directed several video clips and worked on the typographic production for international contemporary artists. Verena has lectured in type design and typography at Designakademie Berlin from 2003–2009 and gives lectures and workshops about type and graphic design all over the globe. She also works as a freelance book designer for the German publisher Hatje Cantz.

Reza is recognized as a significant innovator in visual communication based on Arabic and Farsi typography and calligraphy and Islamic image culture, and has received many awards internationally for his work. One of these was the prestigious Prins Claus Award, which he received in December 2006. He has been a member of the distinguished Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 2001 and has been a jury member at several biennials throughout the world. He is listed in Philip Megg’s History of Graphic Design as one of the world’s outstanding post digital designers.

Russell has exhibited and created site-specific installations, videos and soundworks in solo and group exhibitions globally. He has created stage sets and lighting for some of the most innovative contemporary performers, choreographers and musicians of recent decades and has produced influential book covers and award winning album covers. His work is held in private and public collections worldwide. He is currently Visiting Lecturer at the Royal College of Art and Visiting Professor at Glasgow School of Art.
